Junior hockey training resumes

Junior hockey is back for the next three weeks on Sunday 10.30-12.00. All 5-14's welcome at the Breckland Leisure Centre MUGA.

Training extended

The appetite for hockey is alive and well and there is a demand for more.
The Wednesday training is extended for another three weeks 6.30-8.00

Astro Pitch saved!

The Council have finally decided to end the proposed replacement of the current Sports Centre MUGA with a football based 3G surface. This is great news for Thetford Hockey and all those that fought the proposal, including local councilors.

Training and end of season game- to resume on the 31st March 2021

Due to the lifting of lockdown, training can resume with the usual covid precautions. The league season has been cancelled but games can still take place. We plan two training Wednesday's 6.30-8.00 and a final inter-club game to finish the season on the 10th. April 10.30am.

2020-2021 League season cancelled

Due to the massive disruption to this season's league program the East League and Norfolk Hockey have cancelled the season and start next season with no promotions or demotions. The Ladies Norfolk league will be incorporated into the East and a restructuring of Hockey nationally will see new teams entering our East Leagues. Details to come

We invite you to come and join us at the all weather pitch behind the Breckland Leisure Centre on Croxton Road Thetford IP24 1JD on Wednesday evenings for training at 7.30pm (during season) .

It's for men and women over the age of thirteen and we are happy to teach/develop all skill levels with qualified coaches. Older Junior's also train with us as well as their Sunday sessions. We welcome experienced players and those wanting to get back to hockey after a break. Its a good game to improve fitness and enjoy a social side. We are a small club with a great relaxed social atmosphere but still have a passion for our sport.
