Local councillors join fight to save the MUGA

Local councillors have joined our fight to prevent the artificial grass pitch at the Sports Centre being re-laid as a 3G surface. This can't be used for hockey as the grass is too long. With no alternative pitch in the town, the club's future looks in doubt especially the Junior section who are less likely to travel if another pitch could be found elsewhere.

Andrew Smith and Craig Hall celebrate after Thetford's first against Sudbury II's.

We invite you to come and join us at the all weather pitch behind the Breckland Leisure Centre on Croxton Road Thetford IP24 1JD on Wednesday evenings for training at 7.30pm (during season) .

It's for men and women over the age of thirteen and we are happy to teach/develop all skill levels with qualified coaches. Older Junior's also train with us as well as their Sunday sessions. We welcome experienced players and those wanting to get back to hockey after a break. Its a good game to improve fitness and enjoy a social side. We are a small club with a great relaxed social atmosphere but still have a passion for our sport.

For more information go to our contact page  or  visit our Facebook page .

Come down and give it a try!

Children can come too and join our Junior Hockey Club on Sundays (5-14's) at 11am. Just turn up, first session free, sticks provided. Qualified Coaches.
